Lord's Day — worship
Anno Domini · MMXXVI · Ballarat Parish

Come, let us worship in His holy house.

An Indian Orthodox parish in Ballarat, rooted in the apostolic tradition of St. Thomas. Each Lord's Day we gather for the Holy Qurbana — an unbroken liturgy of light, incense, and song.

— Welcome

A spiritual home for every soul.

Peace be unto you. Whether you are arriving for the first time, returning after many years, or have worshipped with us all your life - there is a place for you at this altar. Our parish was consecrated in the name of Mar Dionysius, a faithful shepherd of the Malankara Church, and continues a tradition of prayer that reaches back to the Apostle Thomas himself.

The liturgy is sung in three tongues - Malayalam, Syriac, and English - so that the youngest child and the eldest grandparent may pray together. Tea is served in the hall after the Qurbana. Come, and bring a friend.
